Why I Want To Leave

I was unlucky enough to be born into this small wretched piece of land and have citizenship in no other country. My mother and father bore me into a country run by a dictator named Lee Kwan Yew who sees it just to pay himself 20 million USD per year and employee his sons to run all the major industries on the island. The courts and judges are all controlled by the man, and there Singapore "law" is according to the man's whims.

Everywhere I go, there are video-cameras lining the streets and scattered around every ceiling in every imaginable building here. There is no freedom, and especially no privacy. Sin is permissible, as long as it does not interfere with Mr Lee Kwan Yew's position. Prositution and gambling, institutions that do a society bad, are allowed. Bad mouthing Kwan Yew is not.

The only thing to do on the island is spend your hard earned money in the myriad of shopping centers scattered around the island. This is acceptible for most, but for me I long for something more exotic and meaningful. There are no mountains on the islands, and virtually all the beaches are man-made and cost to visit (the Sentosa beaches, for example).

I definitely don't agree with you. If you dislike cameras lying all around, then you're wrong. If there's no cameras around, singapore's security will be lower alot. If someday you got beaten up on the street, you report your unfortunate incident to the police, the police will have a hard time to figure and investigate the cases. Then it will also means that you got beaten up by gangsters for nothing and there's nothing you can do about it. Why do you even want to open a blog like this? Even you well hid your identity, there's still ways to track you. So anonymous, please think before you speak. This blog of yours really insulted us singaporeans. If you have the guts to write these craps about singapore, why don't you have the guts to show your real identity instead of hiding behind the computer screen? If you really wish singapore to improve, voice out your opinions. not insulting singapore like that. Example, you're born in england and i insulted your country by only saying the negatives of your country instead of the positives. How will you feel? If you feel nothing, you should be ashame of yourself. It only seems you only care only for yourself but not everyone.
